In July 2006, Microla Optoelectronics s.r.l. emerges as a Politecnico di Torino spin-off company, offering solid state laser sources. It was the consequence of a group of engineers and physicists with the belief that laser sources can (and will) play a key role in the industrial environment and economic recovery.
Throughout the years, Microla has focused its attention into laser processing and engraving. This has led to the creation of fully functional equipments such as the "Laser Ready", and other systems of laser processing tailored to meet customer requirements.
Microla consolidates constantly the skills of physicists and engineers for the development of new optical and electronic systems.
In 2012 we acquired a patent on an innovative system of optic reading, by means of a laser probe, to obtain the oscillating frequency of micro-mechanic structures (MEMS).
Microla takes advantage of its expertise in three different sectors (Optics, Laser and Electronics) to study and develop hi-tech solutions aimed to resolve particular industrial requirements in different manufacturing sectors.
